The station was running West Greenland Standard Time (UTC-3). The multisensor was located at the eastern side of Røde Elv just south of the bridge. However it turned out that the river was influenced by tidal fluctuations at this position. To avoid tidal impact the set-up was moved to a location farther upstream in 2014 (see RE-2).
