AWS1 was running West Greenland Standard Time (UTC-3). The automatic weather station was installed at the scientific leaderĀ“s house approximately 25 meter above sea level and 300 m from the coast. Wind (speed and direction) and Air temperature were measured at a 9.5 meter high mast. Liquid precipitation were measured at a 2 meter high separate mast. All parameters were logged by 30 minutes interval. Data were monitored and stored by AANDERAA instruments and datalogger.
