Snow depths measured manually using a metal probe to penetrate snow from the surface to the ground and reading the depth of the snow. The snow depths in the south valley grid are measured in a large scale grid approximately every 10x1000 meters. The snow survey in Kobbefjord has been carried out annually in late winter since 2008.
