Hydrogiological investigations were carried out in the Norwegian Sea (1-26 June) and in Icelandic waters (25 May- 14 June) along standard sections. Participating vessels were "Persey III", "Akhill", "Korenovsk" (from the Soviet Union) and "Bjarni Samundsson" (from Iceland). The methods of sampling and analysis were the same as those applied in previous years.
