The dataset reports also satellite-retrieved sea surface chlorophyll-a concentration (CHL) data averaged over three selected oceanic regions in the North Atlantic Ocean domain, during the same period. This dataset is discussed in a manuscript titled "Linking Marine Biological Activity to Aerosol Chemical Composition and Cloud-Relevant Properties over the North Atlantic Ocean" by "Karam Mansour, Stefano Decesari, Maria Cristina Facchini, Franco Belosi, Marco Paglione, Silvia Sandrini, Marco Bellacicco, Salvatore Marullo, Rosalia Santoleri, Jurgita Ovadnevaite, Darius Ceburnis, Colin O'Dowd, Gregory Roberts, Kevin Sanchez, and Matteo Rinaldi", which is currently under review by Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres.
