The radar data were acquired with AWI's EMR radar system in 1998. The radar lines are located between the central ice divide and the Northeastern glacier outlet region. The radio-echo sounding data was used to decipher the regional ice-flow history of the northeastern Greenland Ice Sheet based on its internal stratigraphy by mapping folds deep below the surface that we then attribute to the deformation caused by now-extinct ice streams.
