Summary: | Results from Underwater Vision Profiler 5hd measurements from campaign ARCTIC2018 (Transdrift -XXIV). Depth profiles for optical particle quantification (>~0.1 mm) and particle image acquisition (>~0.8 mm) were performed in August and September 2018 in the Laptev and East Sibirian Sea as well as the Nansen and Amundsen Basin onboard RV Akademik Tryoshnikov. This dataset describes results of detailed detritus clustering of all identified detritus images accomplished using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and k-means clustering according to Trudnowska et al. 2021 (doi:10.1038/s41467-021-22994-4). Average detritus image variables (grey value, ESD, Elongation etc.) as well as concentrations (individuals per L) of resulting detritus clusters (large heterogenous, elongated, small dark etc.) are presented in a depth binned shape. ... |
