The snow cores have been stored in polypropylene boxes and transportet to the Alfred-Wegener-Institute. The snow cores were analysed for density (dataset of 1m density available under doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.928079 and subsequently cut into discrete samples in 1cm or 2cm resolution, depending on the snow core positions. Afterwards, they were analysed for stable water isotopes using a Picarro L2130-i isotope analyser (CRDS) and for anorganic impurities using a Dionex ICS-2100 (IC). At the majority of the sampling locations, 4 snow profiles in a triangle setup (one profile in the center surrounded by the others with 10m spacing) have been sampled. The common sampling setup is attached as a figure. At some locations, there are less samples available or the central profile was deepened to 4m. ...
