The source code for an application programming interface (API) to read and write SURF data is released by the Hydrosweep manufacturer Atlas Hydrographic, Bremen, and published under the GNU General Public License.Ancillary sound velocity profiles (SVP) for data calibration are not part of this dataset publication. : These data should not be used for navigational purposes.Data were provided to PANGAEA by Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research personnel (contact: infobathy@awi.de).
