This dataset was generated in the frame of the co-operation between the Huinay Scientific Field Station (http://www.huinay.cl) and the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research (http://www.awi.de). Tiles have the following dimensions, length:height = 15:15 cm (225 cm²) and are fixed with two screws and washers to a PVC frame. The latter is connected to the wall with a stainless steel bolt. A square pattern on the tiles allows easy analysis of the percentage cover of species. This pattern has a size of 1.75 cm between the middle of adjacent ridges. ...
