This information contains large amount of acoustic flares, which are the hydroacoustic expression in echograms of underwater bubble release. The acquisition and compilation of this information is a result of the international cooperation between several institutions, i.e. GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research (Germany), the University of Southampton (United Kingdom), the National Oceanography Centre (NOC, United Kingdom), Centre for Arctic Gas Hydrate (CAGE, Norway) and the Renard Centre of Marine Geology (RCMG, Belgium).
