Summary: | Rio Grande Rise (RGR) is a broad elevation in the South Atlantic Ocean consisting of western and eastern parts, that in total measures about 874 km east-west by about 480 km north-south. There is a scarcity of available information to the scientific community and to address this, the Marine E-tech project has taken a holistic and interdisciplinary scientific approach to understand the oceanographic and geological environment of the rise. Here we present geophysical, geological, biological and physical oceanography dataset spanning a depth range from 640 to 2060 m acquired during a multidisciplinary scientific cruise to RGR in 2018. ... : Supplement to: Jovane, Luigi; Hein, James; Yeo, Isobel; Benites, Mariana; Bergo, Natascha; Corrêa, Paulo; Couto, Daniel; Guimarães, Ayrton; Howarth, Sarah; Miguel, Henrique; Mizell, Kira; Moura, Denise; Neto, Francisco; Pompeu, Maysa; Rodrigues, Ianco; Santana, Frederico; Serrao, Pedro; Silva, Tomás; Tura, Pedro; Viscarra, Carolina; Pelizzari, Vivian; Signori, Camila; Silveira, Ilson; Sumida, Paulo; Murton, Bramley; Brandini, Frederico Pereira (2019): Multidisciplinary scientific cruise to the Rio Grande Rise.
