The model data was created using the planktonic foraminifera model PLAFOM coupled to an ecosystem model (see Moore et al. [2002]).The model results include annual mean values of relative abundances of N. pachyderma for modern conditions, Heinrich Stadial 1 and the Last Glacial Maximum.The theoretical annual mean d18O values of inorganic calcite have been calculated after O'Neil et al. [1969, cited in Shackleton [1974]].
