Summary: | During the period of investigations from 1989 to 2000 all in all 200 stations were occupied in various regions of the Laptev Sea shelf (Fig. 2.1). 600 zooplankton samples were collected and processed. Sampling was carried out both in the shallow bays and in the open-water areas of the Laptev Sea up to the 100-m isobath. The following material was collected: 9 samples from Anabar Bay (1990, 1993), 35 samples from Olenek Bay (1989-1993), 230 samples from Buor-Khaya Bay (including Tiksi Bay; 1990-1997), 14 samples from Yana Bay (1990, 1993, 1995) and 25 samples from the straits of the Novosibirskiye Islands and the Novosibirskoye shoal (1993). 33 samples were obtained during the Russian-American expedition MERA-95 aboard RV "Yakov Smirnitsky" in August/September 1995.
