Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, and Navigation system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0803 conducted in 2008 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Philip Bart). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Infrared Radiation, Bathymetry, Conductivity, Visible Radiation, Fluorescence, Temperature, Navigation, Meteorological, and Salinity data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Ross-Sea outer continental shelf morphology and near-surface stratigraphy: Quaternary ice-sheet grounding-zone migrations and stratigraphy: Quaternary ice-sheet grounding-zone migrations and the LGM dilemma., and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT05-38475.
