This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, and Navigation system during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0309 conducted in 2003 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Daniel Blake). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Visible Radiation, Meteorological, Temperature, Infrared Radiation, Bathymetry, Fluorescence, Conductivity, and Navigation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Global Climate Change and the Evolutionary Ecology of Antarctic Mollusks in the Late Eocene, Evolutions and Biogeography of Late Cretaceous Vertebrates from the James Ross Basin, Antarctic Peninsula, and Dynamics of Predator-Prey Behavior in the Antarctic Ocean, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT00-03844, ANT99-08856, and ANT99-83751. ...
