Description
Summary:The dataset includes the list of plant species registered in 7 releves of association Carici iljinii-Pinetum sibiricae var. Betula rotundifolia made along the Abaza-Ak-Dovurak route. These forests prevail in the upper part of the forest belt on both (northern and southern) macroscopes of the western part of the West Sayan. The tree layer is composed of Pinus sibirica; due to the lack of warmth trees are low and more sparse: their height is 10-14 m, density - 0.4-0.5. Betula rotundifolia dominates in the shrub layer. The sparse herb-shrub layer is made up of patches of Vaccinium myrtillis, Empetrum nigrum and rare shoots of Carex iljinii, Festuca sphagnicola. Moss-lichen layer is thick and composed of Pleurozium schreberi, Hylocomium splendens, Polytrichum commune, Cladonia stellaris, C. arbuscula, and C. rangiferina. *For mosses and lichens, only the most widespread species are included in the list.
