Methods: We conducted a systematic search of electronic databases and gray literature, focusing on work from the past decade, specific to Indigenous communities and peoples. Our inclusion criteria emphasized culturally safe and appropriate prevention strategies. Data extraction and thematic analysis unveiled key themes, practices, and their effectiveness. Findings: This review highlights the cultural significance of traditional practices in Indigenous communities. Traditional healing methods, cultural resilience, and the resurgence of Indigenous knowledges underpin these approaches.
