Innovating a Computer Infrastructure for Spatiotemporal Studies ...
The spatiotemporal lab contains many projects, such as COVID-19 analysis, sea ice floats, and others, which require a lot of computational ability. Creating a cloud infrastructure will help improve the computation by storing the data from all the projects at one location. Recently, NASA has donated...

Creating a cloud infrastructure will help improve the computation by storing the data from all the projects at one location. Recently, NASA has donated 600 new machines to the lab, so we will create the cloud platform on those new servers. To build the cloud platform, we will be using Wallaby, the newest version of OpenStack. All the data will be presented to the public through websites that use both CKAN, a data management software, and Wordpress, a website building software. We will integrate both of these softwares and install them onto the machines. Currently, we are in the process of moving the new nodes and testing the installation of integrated CKAN and Wordpress. ... : Journal of Student-Scientists' Research, Vol. 3 (2021) ...
