The spatial coverage is adequate but for a timeseries like this the primary need is for the temporal coverage and so this product is limited. This EMODnet Atlantic Checkpoint data product is the result of a “challenge” stress test forming a part of a group of tests to evaluate marine data capacity according to set user requirements.
