Summary:A table contains classification of marine litter collected on four different shores on the uninhabited Northern island of the Novaya Zemlya archipelago (Russian Federation). Using the methodology of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) were selected beaches sections of 100 meters length, where all the marine litter items larger than 2.5 centimeters (minimal size for macro waste) were collected and classified into nine categories material according to the MSFD list.
