The dataset consists of PV generation profiles of monocrystalline-Si panels with 275W power and 18% efficiency. The data is being used in a working journal titled "Experiences from seasonal Arctic solar photovoltaics (PV) generation- An empirical data analysis from a research infrastructure in Northern Finland."The datasets allow an understanding of the potentiality of solar PV generation in the Arctic environment. The data is used for examining the annual and seasonal potential of solar PV panels in the Arctic. Solar PV generation profiles (All the data are available in .csv formats):- Annual scale comparison between a rooftop inclined solar PV panel at a tilt angle of 28 degrees and a vertically mounted solar PV panel at a tilt angle of 90 degrees- proves the potentiality of both mounting setups for the whole year in the Arctic.- Seasonal scale comparison between a rooftop inclined solar PV at a tilt angle of 28 degrees and a vertically mounted solar PV at a tilt angle of 90 degrees- proves the most and least optimum seasons for generating solar PV energy in the Arctic. - Winter season comparison between six rooftop inclined solar PVs at tilt angles of 46, 42, 41, 37, 28 and 23 degrees and six vertically mounted solar PVs at a tilt angle of 90 degrees- proves the potentiality of both the mounting setups under the influence of snow. - Rooftop inclined solar PV generation profile in March- shows the impact of snow and shading.- Annual rooftop inclined solar PV generation profile- shows the supporting evidence for the claim of "optimum lower tilt angle for a better generation in the Arctic".
