The dataset indicates that the spit morphodynamics on the tidal flats at the head of Dicksonfjorden display a variability in time and space. Georeferenced orthophotomosacis were collected annually and processed to produce digital elevation models (DEMs) using Pix4D. Sediment volume changes between years were calculated by substracting the two DEMs corresponding each year (e.g., DoD_2019_2018_D.tif is the difference between DEM_2019_D.tif and DEM_2018_D.tif). Files in Figure 6, Figure 8, Figure 11, Figure 13 folders include DEM and DoD of spits analyzed in the study. Due to large file size for original tiff files (typically greater than 1 GB), we uploaded tiff files with reduced resolution (10 cm). The resolution of the original tiff files is less than 2 cm. Despite the reduced file resolution, there is no significant increase in root mean square errors for DoD analysis. The original tiff files are available on request.
