Summary: | The Epiaurignatian lokality is bradly agreed to bet he youngest known residental camp site mundant mammoth bones within the Middle Danube region. The macroscopic seasonal data are based on two neonate mammoths, together with seven 8-12 months old arctic and red fox individuals, two 9-12 months old wolves and a one-year-old reindeer individual. These indicated that the camp was used during the late winter and sping/summer season. For futher informatik 24 teeth weresubmitted to root cementum analysis. Six teeth from arctic foxes were hunter between April to August. Seven teeth from wolves were hunting between May and August. Four teeth from free reindeer were hunter between May and July. |
