РАННИЕ ЭТАПЫ ОСВОЕНИЯ ЧЕЛОВЕКОМ ЗАБАЙКАЛЬЯ (НОВЫЕ МАТЕРИАЛЫ)

The author discusses the problematic of the occupation of Transbaikalia by hominids in Early Paleolithic (Early and Middle Pleistocene). For the first time this hypothesis was formulated by A.P.Okladnikov in 1970-80 years. This article is devoted to the new materials obtained by author and others. This new evidences allow to seriously elaborate this problematic. Author delineates in Siberia two groups of the archaic sites specified by different types of the industry. The first one includes Razlog-2 (Krasnoyarsk Region), Diring-Yuriah (Yakutia), Balyshovo (Upper Lena) and others, which are characterized by choppers, choppings, scrapers, splitting of citron-like flakes, flakes as the preforms for the tools. The second line of the technological development realized on the sites of aridic area of Mongolia, Northern Chine, Kazakhstan, Middle Asia and consists of the levalluos, ortogonal splitting, bifacial tools. The data of Zasuhino, Balta, Malyi Sel'ger published here have analogies with the both lines of the cultural development. The decision of the local specific of the Lower and Middle Paleolithic in Transbaikalia to the moment is yet problematic.
