Description
Summary:The article is devoted to description the implement collection of multilayered archaeological site BoPshoi Ia-kor'-1. Artifacts of 1,1 A, 2,2A, 3 cultural horizons belong to Neolithic Bronze Age. The most presentable part of collection is formed by implements of ЗА, ЗБ, ЗВ, 4,4A, 4Б, 4B, 5,6,7,8,9 cultural horizons. These complexes are dated the Upper Paleolithic (11700-12700 BP) and culturally homogeneous (bifaces, wedge-shaped microcores, transversal burins? scrapers etc.). Authors point out they community with Duktai Upper Paleolithic culture of Yakutia. Thus these data allow delineating further the cultural specification of assemblages against the common background and describing the modification of technologies of splitting bifaces and microcores. The rich archaeological data give possibility to pay attention to several topics of activity (functional) interpretation which will be developed further. Specifically, bifaces are described as the element of hunting toolkit which could be understood in terms of the planning of activity, adaptive variability of stone splitting in order to current objectives of human activity. 158 The article is devoted to description the implement collection of multilayered archaeological site BoPshoi Ia-kor'-1.
