Предлагаемые Министерством регионального развития России варианты состава Арктической зоны Российской Федерации оставляли неудовлетворенными часть арктических регионов, чьи заполярные территории в ее состав не включались. Возражали и специалисты, указывая на отсутствие адекватных обоснований. В статье рассматриваются различные подходы к выделению арктической зоны как природного зонального явления и Арктической зоны Российской Федерации как объекта государственного управления в целях социально-экономического развития. Формулируются принципы Арктической зоны Российской Федерации и предлагается ее оптимизированный состав.The article discusses various approaches to the isolation of the Arctic zone, a zone of natural phenomena, and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, as an object of governance for socio-economic development.
