В статье семантика геокультурного пространства Русского Севера рассматривается на основе гипотетически сформулированной идеологемы: идеи «перехода», идеала «Преображения», идеологии с признаками оппозиционности и маргинальности. Автором сформулированы онтологические качества пространства жизненных отношений: необходимость границы (автономия), сакральное и семантическое оформление территории, наличие идеи и «гения» места (носителя идеи места). Выводы автора актуализированы проблемой диалога культур в условиях глобализации. The research subject is local and universal features of Semantics of Geocultural Space of the Russian North. The methodological basis is the doctrine of ontological relationship between a cult and culture. Spiritual ideas of peasants are differentiated in the field of life relationships by law of “generating semantics” (K. Levi-Strauss). Socio-cultural area of Northern villages verbalizes the idea of “transition,” the ideal of “Transfiguration,” the ideology taking various forms of marginality and opposition to conditional centre in time. Orthodox dogmatics is projected into the idea of monarchy as the only possible state. Principle of the Trinity is perceived as a universal spatial law. The author formulates the ontological characteristics of Geocultural Space: the necessity of bounds (autonomy), the sacral and semantic figuration of territory, the presence of a message of the place and a “genius” of the place (a carrier of the message). The author’s conclusions are actualized by the issue of a dialogue of cultures in the context of globalization.
