Opening YSU has raised the question of organization of medical as- sistance to students in extreme Arctic conditions. In 1996 he opened a municipal- ity «Polyclinic number 5». To solve the long-term objectives of improving the safety and health of students is the actual construction of the Inter-University clinic capacity of 500 visits per shift. In the structure of outpatient visits 29,1 % are visiting about diseases and 70,9 % over the checkups. In 2013, a student has to 7,4 visits. Is improving support, diagnostic services. Leading diseases are res- piratory diseases (304,2 %), eyes (131,2 %), digestion (118,3 %). Priority is the prevention of disease and promotion of healthy lifestyles
