Summary:Ground beetles of the Kanin peninsula southern tundras are studied. In the Shoina village outskirts 39 species of ground beetles are collected. The carabid fauna of peninsula tundras includes 49 species. A comparatively high number of ground beetles species is connected with history, landscape, geoecology and ecosystems peculiarities of the Kanin peninsula.
