World War I was one of the most important events in twentieth century. Crisis of European civilization gave rise to crisis in international relations. Russian political situation was completed profound revolution transformations in 1917 year. Events of World War I were considered in Russian State`s official press. Kamchatka press was not exception. That was the reason why we had turned our attention to native historical material. Kamchatka press, that was analyzed, helps us to understand public relation of that difficult time. The press of World War I contains information about alterations of Kamchatka political situation. Political leaders wanted to control mass media in order to govern better.
