It conditions a surd component of the cognition and comprehension of the world and the person's place in it, particularities of the mythological thinking, mythological way of the explanation of the world are described. Short feature of the symbol as the mythological part of personality's structured unit is given. The Mythological self-consciousness is defined as the image of the "subject world" relations, given by a surd component of the cognition. As basic features of the mythological self-consciousness the sensation of I and the world holistic unity stands out, and polysemantic of the surrounding world's objects. The particularities of Kamchatka native folks' mythological self-consciousness are considered, which are conditioned by a special type of person's relations with the surrounding world.
