BRAVOSEIS-3 Cruise (29HE20200207) carried out on the Research Vessel Hespérides in 2020 The BRAVOSEIS project investigates the geodynamic environment, structure and dynamics of submarine volcanoes in the Bransfield Strait, Antarctica. It is based on the analysis of tectonic and volcanic earthquakes recorded by a dense, amphybious seismic network composed of broadband seismometers, OBS, and hydrophones, deployed between 2018 and 2020. Aditionally, we perform marine seismology and geophysics profiles across the rift and main volcanic zones. The recorded data will be analyzed using state of the art techniques to understand the crustal structure and tectonic regime in the South Shetland Islands region and elucidate among competing theories, to image the location and extent of magmatic reservoirs, and to address the current activity of submarine volcanic centers along the Bransfield Rift
