The potential of three species is being examined: the turbot, Scophthalmus maximus L.; the commom sole, Solea solea (L.); and the lemon sole, Microstomus kitt WALBAUM. The discovery of suitable foods which can be reliably produced is essential for the mass production of larval fish.
