Also records and informations collected from others are included in the paper to make it more comprehensive. The paper also includes interesting observations on the anatomical details of false-killer whale which is recorded for the first time from the Andaman Sea, growth rate of saltwater crocodile in captivity, mode of capture and maintenance of live turtles by Bengalee settlers in earlier days and also on the habits of robbercrab.
