This thesis is the result of the research I have done at Luleå University of Technology during the past three years. The research is conducted at the Division of Computer Aided Design within the ProViking programme funded by Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research and partner companies. I would like to thank the following people; Dr. Mats Näsström, who has been my supervisor during the last part of my research, for your support and always taking your time to sit down with me discussing different matters. Dr. Vahid Kalhori that was my supervisor in the beginning of the research work.
