T h e papers include financial statements, posters, pro-grammes, p re s s clippings, dnd set des igns for the Company which pre-sented s i x s easons of repertory theatre in St. John's, Newfoundland, from 1951 to 1957. (2) A number of pos ters by the Montreal graphic art is t, V i t t o r i o F io rucc i. Winner of a s e r i e s of awards for h i s work, Vittorio's pos ters include those for Canadian films, the National Arts Centre, L e Th&re du Nouveau Monde, and other Montreal theatres. (3) Papers covering the career of N a n c y P y p e r a s ac t ress, director, writer, and teacher. The collection i n c l u d e s a record of her early theatre work in Winnipeg,photographs, programmes, and s tage des igns for productions a t Hart House Theatre i n t he 1930s while s h e was director, a s well a s photographs and pro-grammes documenting the career of Canadian-born ac t r e s s Judith Evelyn. An exhibition of "155 Years of Opera Houses i n Toronto " h a s been mounted by the archivist of the Canadian Opera Company which in-c ludes reproductions of photographs, newspaper advertisements, playbills, and reviews for p roduc t~ons at Toronto thea t res from 1825 to 1960.
