The mineral occurs as lath-shaped crystals up to 150 x 3 @ pm. in galena associated with pyrite, pyrrhotite, marcasite, chalcopyrite, tetrahedrite and native bismuttr. In reflected, plane-polarized light the mineral is strongly bteflectant from greenish grey to greenish white, with no reflectance pleochroism. It is strongly anisotropic. I4tN5o 148-185. Reflectance spectra and color values for tlree grains are zupplied. The structural cell is orthorhomb^ic with dimensions: a 11.31(l), b 19.79Q), c 4.087(4) A.
