Identified children were enrolled in at-risk clinics to address their specific risk factors. During the clin-ics, the children were examined to assess the presence of acanthosis nigricans. A total of 240 children were screened. Risk factors were identified in 140 children (58%). Of the identified children, 117 (83%) attended the at-risk clinics.
