This document presents an update to 2006 of the model for three populations of wandering albatross that couples information on longline fishing effort with demographic data and known life history information (Tuck et al., 2004). Model has been applied to wandering albatross (and a preliminary consideration of black-browed albatross populations) on Bird Island, South Georgia. Preliminary results obtained should allow to further refine the model structure to better account for differences in distribution of birds of different sex and status (active breeder, failed breeder, deferring breeder, non-breeder), and seasonal (monthly) changes in the ratio of birds in each of these categories such that the overall model will be ‘state-of-the-art ’ in terms of biological representation. RÉSUMÉ Le présent document fournit une actualisation jusqu’en 2006 du modèle pour trois populations d’albatros hurleur qui associe l’information sur l’effort de pêche palangrier avec des données démographiques et des informations sur le cycle vital connu (Tuck et al., 2004). Le modèle a été appliqué à l’albatros hurleur (un examen préliminaire des populations d’albatros à sourcils noirs ayant été réalisé) sur Bird Island, Géorgie du Sud. Les résultats préliminaires obtenus devraient permettre d’affiner davantage la structure du modèle afin de mieux tenir compte des différences dans la distribution des oiseaux de différents sexes et états (reproducteur actif, reproducteur en échec, reproducteur différé, non-reproducteur), et des changements saisonniers (mensuels) dans le ratio des oiseaux dans chacune de ces catégories, de telle façon que le modèle global sera le nec plus ultra en termes de représentation biologique.
