The PWV content for Antarctic region was obtained below 10 mm (on average) with an accuracy of 1~2 mm and its variability shows a U-profile pattern. Based on this accuracy, the PWV time series for Antarctic region can be predicted through the surface temperature measurements, which is cost effective, continuous and capable of climate monitoring.
