PREFACE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS This report describes an experimental investigation of the behavioral response of migrating gray whales to sounds associated with oil and gas exploration and development activities. Exten-sive analyses of the resulting data, including statistical testing, quantify behavioral responses under various acoustic conditions.
