AOD is higher in the air masses arrived to Southern Finland from Russia (0.33) and Central Europe (0.20); in air masses originating over the North Atlantic and the Arctic, AOD is lover than 0.12 (for cases when the retrieval was not limited by the low solar zenith angle or cloudiness).
