The main focus of this project is analyzing quality attributes and their definitions in an already developed software system, that has been developed by the authors but has not been taken into use yet. The system is meant to be used by UNN in Tromsø, and if taken into use it will save the user for both time and money. The reason for analyzing this system before it is made use of, is to make sure the required quality requirements is fulfilled, and that the system will fit the user’s needs. It is also in interest to understand the different users definitions of quality. To capture the important quality attributes this study has been performed through empirical studies, where an interview has been conducted on the future administrators of the system, and a questionnaire on the other users of the system. The interview’s context was at UNN in Tromsø, while the questionnaire was performed on the Internet. The results of these empirical studies were further analyzed and used to test the quality of the KAS. Finally the outcome of the tests and results were discussed, and their validity assessed. This project is meant to build a fundament for a master thesis were the software system is tested in its original environment at UNN and put into use.
