This paper will describe the basic assumptions for creating this project, the research objectives and the approach taken to obtain results suitable for visualization of information of the city of Iqaluit and its surroundings. The three components of the project, namely cartographic design, animation of three dimensional data and potential applications will be elaborated upon.
