Description
Summary:欧文抄録:p.77 Folklore is very important for understanding the traditional worldview and is still alive in the modem culture of the indigenous peoples of the Russian North. Folk tales not only recount the sacred story, reproduce cultural values and moral norms. They seamlessly integrate present-day realia and thus define their place in the existing system of values and worldview. This can be illustrated by a Forest Nenets folktale recorded by the author in the Purovsky District of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in 2003.
