The formation experiments of methane hydrate in the porous media were carried out at the temperature range of 274.15 similar to 278.15 K and the initial formation pressure range of 7.4 similar to 11.0 MPa. The experiment results indicated that the formation rate of methane hydrate increases with the increase of the initial formation pressure, the decrease of the bath temperature, the decrease of the particle range and the increase of the mean pore diameter.
