Summary: | International audience During several trips, measurements of sulfur dioxide and sulfate aerosols have been taken over Antarctic and Subantarctic areas and also over the Mediterranean Sea. A special application of the West Gaeke method enabled us to measure SO, concentrations in Antarctic and Subantarctic areas, ranging from 0.05 to 1 ,ug/m3. SO, and sulfate aerosols concentrations in these areas are then compared with concentrations observed in other areas. |
