Today, the Hubble constant; yesterday, the solar parallar. The following account, attributed to Ladislas Weinek, a modest actor of this scientific epic, describes one of its numerous chapters. Les astronomes sont les arpenteurs du ciel, et ils ont toujours consacré beaucoup de temps et de ressources à déterminer l'échelle des distances dans l'univers. Aujourd'hui, la constante de Hubble, hier la parallaxe solaire. Le récit imaginaire d'un modeste acteur de cette épopée en retrace un court chapitre.
