International audience On the bases of Forest Nenets folk tales and legends, this article attempts to understand how the Forest Nenets imagine the world beyond, the pursuit of life, the flow of time and the spatial disposition - verticality versus horisontality. It comments also upon possible influences of Christianity. Sur la base de contes et légendes nénetses des forêts, cet article entend fournir quelques éléments pour comprendre comment les Nénètses des forêts voient l'au-delà, la continuation de la vie, le cours du temps et la disposition spatiale (verticalité et horizontalité). Il commente aussi d'éventuelles influences du christianisme.
